Genuine alabaster stone mined from quarries in northern Spain make for beautifully translucent diffusers. Every piece of stone is unique. Alabaster verses glass is like granite vs Formica. Cream colored alabaster comes with the Bronze finish by default. This European made frame is solid brass with beautiful cast brass arms that cradle the alabaster stone bowls. Arm lights are candelabra base, center lights are Standard E26 Base (also known as Medium or Edison). LED bulbs are recommended to reduce risk of damaging the stone with the heat from the bulb.
